Ariana Grande confirms relationship with Mac Miller on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'
Last month, the public started to see sparks fly between Ariana Grande and Mac Miller, after several performances of their hit “My Favourite Part.” But after weeks of speculation, Grande finally confirmed that she is indeed dating Miller.
The 23-year-old songstress went on an episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and first talked about her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, which was on Aug. 28. Grande was calm and cool as she discussed the inspiration for her cycling set and the lyrics of “Side To Side.”
But when DeGeneres asked if they could shift the topic to Grande’s love life, things got a little awkward. “Oh my god. Oh God,” Grande said. “I don’t know, man. This is so crazy.” She admitted that she was not expecting the interview to circle around her personal life.
DeGeneres brought up how Grande and Miller first performed on the show three years ago, and that Grande said they were just friends. “I asked you something about him, and you said, ‘Oh I’m his homie,’” DeGeneres recalled. “And now he’s living in your homie.”
“There’s that,” Grande shyly answered.
“But you’re with him, right? And you’re happy?” DeGeneres gently prodded, to which Grande uttered a sheepish affirmative.

On the other hand, 24-year-old Miller was a little more vocal about his relationship with the “Dangerous Woman” singer. In an interview with People, he discussed just how their relationship began.
"We made [‘My Favourite Part’] and started becoming close again,” he began. “It's very dope and I like how that worked out."
The two first became close when they worked on “The Way” together. Miller said getting back in the studio felt like they had not spent any time apart. He said that the difference was really how much they had grown in the past three years, both as individuals and as artists.
