Ariana Grande lashes out at reports that she walked out from her photo shoot session in Australia after insisting with her diva demands. The 21-year-old former “Sam & Cat” actress claimed that the rumour was started by just one irate photographer.

On Monday, it was reported that the U.S. singer was acting like a diva at her press engagement in Sydney. After giving reporters list of topics that they should avoid asking in interviews, her team also told photographers at the last minute not to use natural light and only shoot from the left side of her face.

Apparently, she had let the photographers wait for an hour in a hotel room before she left when she became upset at how she had looked in one photo shot.

One report claims she re-emerged with a new outfit, but had asked photographers to let her see every camera shot of her to make sure that she looked good in the photos. Another report said that one of her reps returned to demand a photographer to delete all of his photos of Grande, but the photographer refused. This prompted a member of her security team to attempt to prevent the photographer from exiting with the shots.

Grande has now hit back at the claims, saying that they were “totally untrue and very annoying.”

“It was just a photographer or something who got mad at me because I left to change my outfit mid-photoshoot because I didn’t like my top and I was like, ‘Oh I’ll be right back,’ and then I cameback and he had left and I was like ‘Oh s---,’” she told radio show Mike E & Emma in an interview set to air on 96.1 on Wednesday.

“He’s now said all these ridiculous untrue things about me and I’m just like, you know what, that’s not real, that’s nonsense. My fans know who I am, my family knows who I am, my friends know who I Am, and that’s all that matters.”

There are a couple of fans who knew her but didn’t like what they saw, though.

A father of two U.S. meet-and-greet contest winners related on his blog how cold Grande has welcomed his daughters when they met her. He claimed that the pint-sized starlet only smiled when they were taking pictures, but other than that, she didn’t even ask for her fans’ names.

Grande reasoned out that she was just feeling sad because the girls gave her a picture of her and her grandfather, who recently died of cancer.

Meanwhile, her manager Scooter Braun has defended her from the diva reports. Braun is also the manager of Justin Bieber, who also doesn’t have the most positive of reputations outside his fanbase.
