Ariana Grande Gushes On Nathan Sykes And Her Love For Her Fans And BFF
Nathan Sykes might be the most gentleman of all the guys out there at least for Ariana Grande. The 20-year-old singer told Cosmopolitan magazine the first time she and The Wanted member went on a date.
"We were going back to his hotel to watch a movie, and he had Ladurée macarons and sunflowers waiting," Ariana recalled. "I love Parisian baked goods, and sunflowers are my favorite flower."
Ariana revealed they did not sleep together on their first date, as she recalled that "(h)e had taken the DVD player out of the bedroom and into the living room, because he said he didn't want to take me into the bedroom on the first date."
Earlier this month, however, Ariana hinted that she and Nathan had broken up as she told Florida DJ that they're "really good friends."
Meanwhile, Ariana talked about giving back the love to her fans, sometimes to a point where she nearly runs into trouble. In particular, she recounted her time in Amsterdam where fans are crowding into her wherever she goes from the airport to her hotel.
"I never want to be the person who avoids my own fans, so I always try to stop and say hi," she narrated. "But it turned into a big mosh of people, and it became quite dangerous. I got sent to the police station, and they told me not to come back to that airport!"
Later on, fans camped out of her hotel to see her, so much that the hotel manager forbade her to go out of the balcony to wave to them.
"I just went out anyway," Ariana said. "I said, You can't stop me! That's one thing to get in trouble for: loving your fans too much."
Ariana also proved that she's the best BFF around as she gushed about the bond between her and her best friend Alexa, while lamenting on how she cannot not see her friend as often as she wanted.
"It's really hard for me and my friend Alexa, because she's in school and she doesn't have the flexibility to come visit me on the road whenever she wants," Ariana said. "But whenever she's on break, I try to fly her in and keep her with me as long as I can."
"(O)ne time I tweeted her school in Gainesville, like, I'm keeping Alexa!" They tweeted me back: "All right. Make sure she does her homework," she quipped.
