The stage of the long running ABC's TV show "Dancing with the Stars" glittered like never before on season 17, week 6, episode on Oct. 21, 2013. "Life in Cartoon Motion" star Mika accompanied the teen pop sensation, Ariana Grande to the show to perform their new song "Popular."

No! The duo was not here to dance but they were here to add a little fun to the tensed sets of the show "Dancing with the Stars." In week 6 the competition has become tougher and the contestants are tensed about their future on the show.

After the contestants' backbreaking performances, the duo overtook the ballroom's stage to lighten up the mood and release some tension.

Ariana Grande looked adorable in her black skirt teamed with black tights and a navy blue sweater. She accessorized her look with a cat ear headband. At the same time, Mika looked stunning, almost trying to match his look with hers. He sported a blue blazer over a white shirt and a black necktie.

The duo brightened up the mood of the otherwise tensed stage as the contestants danced in the stage area while they sang the song merrily.

This new song features in the pop queen Ariana Grande's new album "Yours Truly." The song originally featured on British singer and songwriter Mika's album "The Origin of Love." Their new song "Popular" is a remake version of the original version based on the song of same name "Popular" from the hit musical "Wicked."

In the new version, some of the expletives which featured in the original song have been removed as some of the lyrics were rewritten. Originally it features Priscilla Renea's vocals.

After their lively performance of the song "Popular," Ariana Grande expressed her joy of performing with her friend Mika on twitter. She tweeted:

And Mika tweeted back expressing his pleasure in performing with Ariana Grande.
