The holidays might not have gone smoothly with two of Hollywood's hottest couple. Nathan Sykes and Ariana commonly referred to as "Nariana," allegedly called it quits over Christmas. How true are the rumours and have the cute couple really broken up?

Leave it to the tabloids to come up with "newsworthy" stories while the celebrities spend Christmas away with their loved ones. A few stories have circulated over the web about celebrities going splitsville soon after the big "Ho Ho." Reports claim Ariana Grande of "Sam & Cat" called it quits with The Wanted singer Nathan Sykes.

The story of the split originated from Ariana's interview with "Who's on First." Of course, this was an old interview where the red-head star was talking about her split with then boyfriend, Jai Brooks of "The Janoskians." To cut it short, Ariana Grande was in no way referring to her "now" boyfriend, Nathan Sykes. Both singers are still very much together and very much in love.

Still, the rumours of their alleged split continue to spread with a source claiming to US Weekly that the couple "weren't into it anymore." Nonetheless, it is vital to note Ariana's take on the relationship in her interview with Teen Vogue, February 2014 issue.

"It's not as tough as people would think. We have the same music manager, so we can see each other's schedules and plan little trips as often as we can," stated Grande.

This is clear cut proof that the "Nariana" couple is still together and they're not going splitsville anytime soon. "Nariana" fans continue to root for the couple on various social networking sites. They've also made a point to debunk the rumours.

On the other hand, what did happen between the "Nariana" couple during the holidays? Not much given Ariana was away at home with her beloved family. She did manage to talk about her gift for The Wanted singer.

"I don't want to just get him something fancy, it's very easy to get somebody a watch or cuflinks or a tie. I want to get something creative and thoughtful," said Grande. So what exactly did she get Nathan?
