Ariana Grande and Big Sean were seen holding hands at the MTV VMA's. After giving a stellar opening performance with Nicki Minaj and Jessie J, Grande was seen having a gala time with her rumoured boyfriend. Though there is no confirmation in regard to the blossoming romance of the couple, the two would be seen together in Grande's next single "Best Mistake."

Before being linked to Sean, Grande had reunited with her ex boyfriend Jai Brooks. However, the two broke-up for unknown reasons. However, "Problem" singer posted a cryptic message on her twitter that was being considered the possible reason for the break-up.

"July was painful for many reasons but of all the personal loss I suffered last month, the loss of my grandfather, a true gentleman, was the only one that truly mattered," wrote the singer, adding, "I thank my loves for being so in tune to what is good and right for me and my heart."

"I hope you will surround yourselves with people who will be there for you thru the bad times, not just the good," she further said. "I thank everybody who was here for me when I needed them as the ones who weren't really broke my heart."

Grande has since been busy with the stage performances and with the promotion of her music.

Meanwhile, a few months ago, Sean was all set to walk the aisle with "Glee" star Naya Rivera. However, their relationship came to a screeching halt. None of the stars talked about the reason for their split.

Sean's rep did reveal an official statement suggested that it has been a difficult decision for the rapper.

Rivera later tied the knot with Ryan Dorsey. The two got married in a secret ceremony in Mexico. Not many know that Naya married Ryan on his birthday. It was reported that Naya and Sean's marriage date was to take place on Sean's birthday that, unfortunately, did not take place.

Grande has also dated "The Wanted" member Nathan Sykes in the past.
