Ariana Grande showed off her legs and sexy backside during her stunning performance at the 42nd American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The 21-year-old stood out on stage wearing a golden two-piece dress as she performed a medley with Nicki Minaj and Jessie J. Grande showed off her toned legs and cleavage in that dress as she performed "Bang Bang" with two other singers.

The petite songstress also gave a stupendous solo performance on her two new songs "Problem" and "Bang Bang" wearing yet another see-through black gown in lace. The singer looked sexy as she hit the stage wearing high-waist black panties and a cleavage-revealing black lacy top under a lacy gown. The singer's make-up was perfect with her bright red lips standing out, while her hair was tied up in her signature high ponytail. The singer showed off a lot of skin in her gown as she performed on the two songs without any props with just her soothing voice alongside the piano.

The singer, who is often touted as the next Mariah Carey of the music industry, also sang another song "Love Me Harder" featuring The Weeknd. "Love Me Harder" is the third single from Grande's second album "My Everything."

The two mesmerised the audience with the beautiful track as Ariana's brother Frankie Grande enjoyed her sister's performance by singling along. The "Big Brother" participant was seen smiling and dancing all through out his younger sister's performance. Earlier during the night, Frankie arrived at the red carpet wearing a painted shirt. The 31-year-old paired his painted shirt with baby pink trousers and black shiny shoes. Frankie's dark pink bow-tie stood out from his attire. Check out his picture here.

The gala award night saw many new winners this year. "Booty" singer Iggy Azalea took home two awards both in the rap and hip-hop category. Singer Taylor Swift also won the first ever "Dick Clark Award of Excellence" award for the AMA's creator. The American rapper Pitbull hosted the night where the other winners included boy band 5 Seconds of Summer for best new artist, Sam Smith as favorite pop-rock male artist and Imagine Dragons took home the gong for favourite alternative artist.
