The comeback “Terminator” - actor who turned governor before finding his way back in Hollywood is now eyeing a part in an independent film, “The Last Stand”.

Arnie, who is recently featured in “The Governator” is playing a bordertown sheriff in the crime thriller flick.

Reuters said in a report that the actor is already in ‘advanced negotiations’ for the role, noting however, that it could still not materialize when they fail to meet eye to eye on money matters.

The actor’s representatives from Creative Artists Agency have been working on giving Arnie the perfect deal.

The project by Lionsgate is going to be directed by Jee Woon Kim, the filmmaker for the Korean movie, “The Good, The Bad, The Weird”.

The film has been reported to begin shooting in August.

Following the news of his movie plans - - which first came out in Poland - - have been followed by rumors that the former California governor is now being eyed in a number of many other movie projects.

Looks like Arnie will be very busy in the next few years should he gives green light to all the projects dropping at his doorsteps.

Schwarzenegger is reportedly being eyed for a World War II action project titled, “With Wings Eagles” and for sequels and remakes of “Predator” and “Marathon Man”.

The former governor-turned-comeback-actor was last seen on the big screen for “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” (2003). He appeared briefly in one sequence in the 2010 hit action, “The Expendables”.
