‘Arrow,’ ‘The Flash,’ ‘Supergirl’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow” confirmed crossover, first photo tease by Stephen Amell
Fans of DC Comics and the TV adaptations are in for a major four-way crossover with “The Flash,” “Arrow,” “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow.” This of course isn’t the first time for the superheroes to enter each other’s universe, with “The Flash” and “Arrow” crossover episodes back in December 2014, and “The Flash” and “Supergirl” crossover that followed in March this year. Now, DC fans are in for a grand crossover expansion on all four DCTV shows on The CW.
The plot for the Arrow-Flash-Supergirl-Legends crossover is reportedly still being discussed. The programs’ creator Greg Berlanti has revealed a tiny bit on what fans can expect from the upcoming crossover episodes. Berlanti said that there would be one major villain whom the heroes have to fight against.
“I’m going to probably try to have one unifying threat, as opposed to different things on different ones, which is what the first year was,” Berlanti shared to Entertainment Weekly.
With multiple superheroes coming together, fans can definitely expect an epic antagonist so powerful that DC heroes have to unite to defeat him/her. As the threat is yet to be revealed, the heroes can relax and enjoy each other’s company in the meantime, just like in the photo teased by “Arrow” star Stephen Amell.
Amell recently confirmed to fans on the upcoming crossover with a photo he uploaded in Twitter. The image, which he didn’t even caption, featured the footwear of Oliver Queen (Amell) in “Arrow,” Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) in “The Flash,” Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) in “Supergirl” and Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) in “Legends of Tomorrow.” The photo is a reprise of Amell’s past tease of “The Flash” and “Arrow” crossover in 2014. The image also featured the two heroes’ footwear to which Amell captioned: “Hanging with @grantgust.”
“The Flash,” “Arrow,” “Supergirl,” and “Legends of Tomorrow” returns on October on The CW. All four programs also air on FOX 8 in Australia.
