In “Arrow” Season 3, episode 20 (“The Fallen”), Oliver brings Thea (Willa Holland) to Nanda Parbat to make a deal with Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable). The Lazarus Pit brings Thea back to life. In return, Oliver accepts his fate as the next “head of the demon.”
In this week’s new episode, the League of Assassins hunts down Nyssa, daughter of Ra’s al Ghul. Nyssa, who has been training Black Canary, needs help. Laurel turns to Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), even as Team Arrow has become a shadow of itself.
In a recent mini-crossover episode on "The Flash," Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) talks about the pain that Laurel caused him. It remains to be seen how he would react (if he would learn about this at all) when his only living daughter goes against the League of Assassins.
Meanwhile, “Arrow” show boss Marc Guggenheim told TVLine Felicity’s relationship with Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) is truly over. Still, Guggenheim said the fans should watch episode 22, where the two characters have “a very meaningful exchange.”
Oliver and Felicity (fans and shippers call them Olicity in social media sites) get intimate in “Arrow” Season 3, episode 20. In this same episode, Felicity confronts Ra’s al Ghul and tells Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) what to do. After standing up to big villains, however, Felicity loses Oliver at the end of the episode.
The Black Canary and Felicity share a moment when the latter tearfully announces that Oliver has accepted Ra's al Ghul's offer. Considering their growing friendship, will Felicity be inclined to help Nyssa, if only for Laurel's sake?
Fans should not worry about “Arrow” Season 4. The CW ordered a new season as early as January this year. The progression of the story now, however, makes fans wonder: What is next for Oliver Queen/Al Sah-Him after the Season 3 finale?
The “Arrow” Season 3 finale, titled “My Name Is Oliver Queen,” airs on May 13 on The CW.
