Arrow Season 3 spoilers suggest another exciting fast-paced season for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) on The CW. A big villain is coming, but producers are not confirming any identity yet. So, fans are speculating who it might be. Meanwhile, the status of Caity Lotz, who plays Sara Lance and the original Black Canary in the show, has been confirmed.

Who is the big villain in Arrow Season 3? Is it Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), or someone else from the DC Comics universe, which the TV series has yet to explore?

"What's interesting about the villain in season three is that he doesn't necessarily disagree with [Oliver]. He doesn't have any personal animus towards the Arrow," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly, contrasting the new big bad to Season 2's Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Manu Bennett).

Will Arrow Season 3 address the fake Olicity moment in the finale? Oliver and Felicity have many fan shippers and the show bosses seem aware they have to do something about the fake love confession last season. Still, a happy ending for this couple is unlikely, at least for now.

"We're dealing with the repercussions of the season finale in a very honest way -- leading up to Oliver asking [Felicity Smoak] on an actual date," EP Marc Guggenheim told Zap2It. Olicity fans will find this fun in the beginning of Arrow Season 3. However, fans must note Brandon Routh will also be in the picture later.

Is Sara Lance gone for good? The TV adaptation's original Canary is coming back, but she is not getting her black leather jacket back from Laurel. Sara's elder sis is poised to be Black Canary in Arrow Season 3, the spoilers hint.

Perhaps Sara is keeping her name at the League of Assassins - Ta-er al-Asfer. In the Arrow Season 2 finale, Sara is back in the arms of Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law), which hinted she would stay away from Starling City. However, Guggenheim confirmed some great news.

"Caity Lotz is coming back in a recurring role. She's awesome. We love her to death, and her first line in Season 3 I think is really awesome. She has a really great entrance line," he told Zap2It.
