Arrow Season 3 Trailer Spoilers, Review: Comic-con Preview Reveals Olicity Incident, Arsenal Costume, Black Canary's Return, and More Developments [Watch Arrow 3 Promo Video]
The Arrow Season 3 trailer at the San Diego Comic con reveals a lot of exciting developments for the avid fans of the series on The CW. There is a heart-crushing Olicity incident, the neat Arsenal costume, the return of the Canary, and so much more. There is a lot of Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer in the preview, as well.
Spoiler alert: This feature contains Arrow Season 3 spoilers. Watch the Arrow 3 comic con trailer below.
Here are some of the best parts of The CW's Arrow Season 3 trailer unveiled at the San Diego Comic Con 2014:
Felicity's glammed up look. Once or twice, viewers have seen Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) in what others would call "smokin' hot" vibe. Normally, the show's style and make up would dial this down. In Arrow Season 3, spoilers reveal Ms Smoak ups her fab game a couple notches more. Earlier spoilers hint at romance for Felicity and Ray Palmer, and the comic con trailer sort of explains why the Olicity date may not happen again.
Oliver Queen away from the island. During their date, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) admits to Felicity he was not on the island for all those five years he was gone. "Where were you?" She asks (possibly in the Arrow Season 3 premiere). Cut to Oliver on the run in what could be Hong Kong. Next season, viewers are likely to see more of A.R.G.U.S. and Amanda Waller (Cynthia Addai-Robinson).
Those waiting to see the A.R.G.U.S. Suicide Squad may have to wait a bit longer. But where Amanda Waller, John Diggle and Oliver Queen exist, this special squad won't be far away. And some fans remain convinced that Harley Quinn (believed to be portrayed by Cassidy Alexa) would be officially joining them in Arrow Season 3.
John Diggle off the hook. The Arrow would have died many times over if it weren't for Dig. But he's going to be a father soon in Arrow Season 3. It could be the reason why Oliver seems to be telling Dig that he's kind of off the Team. Dig is very, very, upset. It looks like there is no chance Ollie could convince Dig to stay away. Not then, not ever.
Caity Lotz is back as Sara Lance. "Don't look so surprised," the original Black Canary in TV's Starling City says. Fans have known this for a while, because Caity has been updating Arrow fans on Instagram and Twitter, among other sites.
Katie Cassidy, who plays Laurel Lance, is now "business partners" with Oliver Queen. As in earlier Arrow Season 3 spoilers, Laurel is much closer to becoming the Black Canary that kicks ass throughout the rest of the Arrow series. However, there is still some more journeys for Laurel to explore.
The Arsenal in costume looks bold and dapper. Colton Haynes as Roy Harper aka Red Arrow aka The Arsenal looks like a blazing superhero rock star. In Arrow Season 3, Roy is expected to blame himself and Oliver Queen for the secrets they had to hide from Thea Queen (Willa Holland). They do not know who kept Thea "safe" while Deathstroke's army was in full killing mode. They think she was able to leave the city before the chaos struck.
Paul Blackthorne is looking good as Detective Quentin Lance. In the previous season, he makes a stand to not dig into the identity of the Arrow. In Season 3, he is expected to work more closely than ever with The Arrow and Laurel.
Missing in the Arrow Season 3 trailer are father and daughter Dark Archer (John Barrowman) and Thea Queen. Show bosses are (understandably) still keeping a lot of things under wraps.
