'Arrow' Season 4 returns in March; teaser shows HIVE may strike back

The trailer for “Arrow” Season 4 episode 16 has been released online. The trailer shows Oliver feeling sad about the events of the previous season. The video also teases that HIVE may still strike back, even after the recent victory of the heroes.

In the previous episode, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) had decided to call off the wedding and return the ring to her fiancé. In episode 16 Oliver (Stephen Amell) will feel sad about the fact that he has the ability to save the entire city, but doesn’t have the ability to save his relationship.

The heroes were able to defeat Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) in the previous episode and put him behind bars. The trailer of the next episode teases that HIVE may not remain silent just because Darhk is no longer actively involved.

Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) appears to be emerging as the new main villain of the TV series. He will meet with Darhk in the next episode of “Arrow” Season 4 and tell him that he is going ahead with the next phase of Operation Genesis, but without Darhk.

Darhk was defeated in the previous episode because Oliver enlisted the help of Vixen (Megalyn Echikunwoke). His plan worked and he was able to defeat magic with the help of magic. Executive producer Wendy Mericle appears in a video, describing some of the events of the previous episode.

Mericle called episode 15 as a “huge episode.” The producer revealed that it was very hard for Oliver to take on Darhk because every time the heroes faced him in the past, they were defeated.

The producer said that Echikunwoke is “phenomenal.” “To play a superhero is actually like a dream of mine,” Echikunwoke said in the video. Vixen is not expected to return in the future episodes of “Arrow” Season 4. It s not clear how big a role the character may play in the future of the series.
