“Arrow” season 5 synopsis reveals how series will feature Talia

“Arrow” season 5 will see Talia (Lexa Doig), the most popular Al Ghul sister, for the second half of the current instalment. The official synopsis for “Second Chances” has revealed how the character will be featured in the upcoming episode of “Arrow” season 5.

Based on the official synopsis for “Arrow” season 5, Talia offers help to Oliver (Stephen Amell) in his quest to defeat Kovar (Dolph Lundgren). However, her assistance isn’t free as she asks for something in exchange. Her request is expected to be revealed in “Second Chances,” and the synopsis revealed that what Talia wants may cause Oliver to have second thoughts about accepting her offer to help.

Talia happens to be in Russia at the same time as Oliver. She can be the best person to help the lead character take down the enemy. But it apparently sounds like her price is a bit too much.

Fans can recall that Oliver promised to end the evil plans of Kovar and he has already gone through a lot to accomplish his plan. It will be interesting to see if he will eventually give in to the demands of Talia, or will end up pursuing his goal by himself.

Avid viewers of “Arrow” know that Oliver is a promising hero. However, fans will also agree that defeating a man like Kovar is a challenging task for a lone wolf. If Oliver will accept Talia’s offer to help, she would be a badass ally for him.

Talia was raised in the League of Assassins. Those who have read the comics know her as a strong woman and is experienced in handling handheld weapons. She also has advanced degrees in business, engineering and biology.

Aside from Talia's introduction in “Arrow” season 5, fans can look forward to Doig's portrayal of the character. Some of the Canadian actress' television credits include “Andromeda,” “Continuum,” “Stargate SG-1” and “The 4400.”

Talia is another daughter of Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable) and the sister of Nyssa (Katrina Law). She is described as worldly and cultured.

It is expected that more of Talia will be revealed when “Arrow” returns. It airs on Fox 8 in Australia. The second half of “Arrow” season 5 is slated to air on Jan. 25 on the CW. The series’ air date on Fox 8 is yet to be announced.
