‘Arrow’ star Stephen Amell teases Felicity is into something
“Arrow” season 5 sees Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) taking a darker turn in the second half of the current season. The character has become more aggressive since her boyfriend Detective Billy Malone (Tyler Ritter) passed away. Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen/Green Arrow) has recently teased fans about the character, saying he knows that Felicity is into something.
“He knows that she’s into something, and he knows that she doesn’t want to tell him about it, so he’s dealing with that in his own way,” Amell told Entertainment Weekly. The actor refused to tell what Felicity’s agenda is but said it is something that she and his character will discuss once they have an adult conversation.
Amell has revealed that his character will not learn what is really going on with Felicity in several episodes of “Arrow” season 5. But when he learns about the character’s secret or agenda, he will be surprised.
Felicity is the daughter of Noah Kuttler and Donna Smoak. She is gifted, particularly in the field of computer science. Her love for technology has started at a young age of five, claiming to have been building computers since she was seven. The character, codenamed Overwatch, is a member of Green Arrow’s team. She is also the former chief executive of Palmer Technologies and Oliver’s former fiancée.
She is one of the most popular characters in “Arrow” season 5 for her unique character traits. She knows self-defense and is nerdy and sassy. When it comes to hacking, she is the fastest woman alive.
Meanwhile, synopsis for the next episode of “Arrow” season 5 reveals that Oliver will have to deal with the person responsible behind the attack on the mayor. He realises that the best way to deal with the issue is to face it as Mayor Queen instead of the Green Arrow.
