“Arrow” stars Emily Bett Rickards and Stephen Amell have been nominated at the Teen Choice Awards 2016 in the best liplock scene category. The TV series had previously received two other nominations in the first list of nominees.

Rickards (Felicity Smoak) and Amell (Oliver Queen) appear in the second wave of nominees list posted on the Teen Choice website. The nomination is significant because Season 4 of the TV series showed the couple going through a difficult period together, and their relationship was strained.

Some of the other actors who have been nominated in the liplock category are Chelsea Kane (Riley Perrin) and Derek Theler (Danny Wheeler) for “Baby Daddy,” Candice King (Caroline Forbes) and Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore) for “The Vampire Diaries,” Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan) and Colin O’Donoghue (Captain Hook) for “Once Upon A Time,” Candice Patton (Iris West) and Grant Gustin (Barry Allen) for “The Flash” and Leah Pipes (Camille O’Connell) and Joseph Morgan (Klaus Mikaelson) for “The Originals.”

The “Arrow” TV series received two nominations in the first list of nominees, Teen Vogue reports. The show was nominated for the Choice TV Show award in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy category. The other shows nominated in this category are “iZombie,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Supernatural,” “The Flash” and “The Vampire Diaries.”

Rickards was nominated for the Choice TV Actress award in Sci-Fi/Fantasy category. The other actresses nominated in this category are Candice King for “The Vampire Diaries,” Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow) for “The Flash,” Eliza Taylor (Clarke Griffin) for “The 100,” Kat Graham (Bonnie Bennett) for “The Vampire Diaries,” and Lana Parrilla (Regina Mills) for “Once Upon a Time.”

The “Arrow” team is currently working on the fifth season. The production schedule and filming locations are expected to be announced soon. The show will return in October this year. The exact release date is yet to be announced.
