If you ask the basketball purists, they’d say that flopping in basketball is for sissies. If you ask Derek Fisher, Chris Paul, James Harden, Blake Griffin other master floppers in the NBA, they’d tell you it’s part of the (mind) game and they are just doing it to get the advantage to help their respective teams grab the win.

Now if you ask wrestling superstar John Cena, he’d tell you that you’re doing it wrong.

In an in-depth instructional YouTube video for SportsNationESPN, the WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, World Tag Team Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion and the two-time Royal Rumble Match winner showed how flopping is done the right way:

Being in the sports-entertainment business, Cena knows what he is talking about.

And judging from the fans’ reaction to the video at SportNation’s Facebook page, they agree that Cena knows more about flopping than the NBA professionals plus a few opinions about flopping in basketball:

Albus Severus John Valentin: If you ask me, Cena did agreat job, I want to see more of him on ESPN...I think he's perfect for SportNation....

Alvin Fkv: Well cena is a wrestler...he's used to faking lol.... I woukdve chanted cena sucks if I was there lol

Kai-Hsu Liu: NBA All-FLop First Team: Chris Paul, James Harden, Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, Blake Griffin.

Andrew Nervo: Hahaha love how cena points out lebum first I mean leflop so true cena!!!! Lebum James all time flopper

Matthew Cintron: Should have Lebron help him with flopping lmao

Goshua Mcanuff: Well he is a professional flopper lol

Marcus Johnson: It's missing Chris Paul and James harden cardboard cutouts.

Jimmy Aviles: James harden n other pros should get fined for flops smh it makes the game look bad

Cena has also released the “Anger Management School” instructional about a year ago:

While here are the few NBA flops that should make Cena proud:
