With Chris Algieri out of the way, the boxing public eyes are now on the dream match between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. But Top Rank Promotions boss Bob Arum is wary that Money May would now fear suffering the same fate as Algieri.

That is suffer his first loss and risk losing his dream of equaling the 63-0 record set by boxing legend Rocky Balboa which is just two fights away for the boxer from Nevada. While Pacquiao has expressed willingness to meet Mayweather on the ring in 2015, Arum said that the return of the Filipino champ's fierce boxing style that resulted in Algieri's handsome face being battered by the southpaw.

Arum has previously commented that the reason behind Mayweather's "on" and "off" response to the dream match that has been ongoing the past five years is his fear of southpaw boxers like Pacquiao. Arum had previously handled Mayweather, thus he is familiar with his former ward's weaknesses and fears.

Asked what Arum would do now that Pacquiao has beaten Algieri convincingly and all eyes are the response of Mayweather, the 82-year-old promoter said, quoted by GMA, "I will sit down and answer the telephone. As simple as that. I think the fight should happen and all the nonsense has to cease."

He was referring to various excuses that Mayweather made in the past such as mandatory drug testing and how to divide the purse.

Although it is CBS top officials who are negotiating for the dream match to happen, the ultimate decision still lies with Mayweather if he wants to fight Pacquiao who has said he wants a bout with Money May.

Meanwhile, here's a quick peek at some of the dramatic and memorable moments that happened in the Cotai Arena which was witness to how Pacquiao gave Algieri his first loss, prompting some naughty Filipino fans to comment that with American's cute face now black and blue, Pacquiao is definitely more handsome than Algieri now.
