Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher has enjoyed his trip to Melbourne that he said he is thinking of moving to the city.

The star walked the black carpet along with Australian director Robert Luketic for the premiere of their new film Killers at the Jam Factory in South Yarra on Tuesday night. The movie also stars Katherine Heigl from Grey's Anatomy.

Kutcher had been analysing his Aussie tour guides and would like to put his skills to a test on a go-kart track.

"My last visit in Melbourne was only for 24 hours," he said.

"I might stick around this time. I like it. I might even move here."

Sky diving, visiting Bondi Beach and patting koalas and snakes at a wildlife park in Sydney were just some of the activities he did since his arrival.

"Koalas have two thumbs, that kind of freaked me out. Imagine how fast you could text with two thumbs," he said.

Kutcher arrived early at his premiere, giving him around an hour to take pictures with fans.

Guests who were present at the screening include Deidre Hall from Days of Our Lives, PJ king Peter Alexander and Naomi Robinson.

Because his wife Demi Moore wasn't available to accompany him to Australia, Kutcher took with him his step-daughter Talullah Willis on his week-long promotional tour.
