Actor Ashton Kutcher is scheduled to arrive in Australia for the premiere of his latest movie, an action-packed comedy titled "Killers".

Kutcher will arrive next month to promote the movie and will be accompanied by Australian director Robert Luketic, the man behind Hollywood hits The Ugly Truth, 21 and Legally Blonde.

Killers, which will be released nationally on July 29, also stars Katherine Heigl and Tom Selleck.

The film is about the story of Jen Kornfeldt (played by Heigl), who goes to the French Riviera with her parents, where she will meet the man of her dreams, Spencer Aimes (Kutcher).

After three years, Kornfeldt discovers that Aimes used to be an international spy and their quiet newlywed world turns into chaos.

Kutcher, who is married to Demi Moore, also appeared in other box office hits, including "Valentine's Day", "What Happens in Vegas", "The Guardian", "The Butterfly Effect" and "Dude, Where's My Car?"

Kutcher and Luketic will attend the July 18 Sydney premiere and the Melbourne premiere on July 20.
