Mila Kunis, Ashton Kucther have re-united for a new project and it is called "MoonQuake Lake." it also has singer Rihanna who stars as a mermaid. But is it for a full fledged movie or something else? Let's find out. Mila, Ashton and Rihanna just took the hopes of their fans to a new high when they were seen in a new movie trailer "MoonQuake Lake." The information was tweeted by new dad Ashton Kutcher. Check out the tweet from the actor below. The tweet also had a link to a Sony Pictures website which takes you to the trailer of the movie. But are Ashton and Mila really reuniting on the big screen? There seems to be some doubts as "MoonQuake Lake" does not look like a real movie, various website say. Let's find out.

The trailer shows Mila Kunis with blue-coloured tears. The backdrop of the movie seems to have been influenced by the vampire movie "Twilight," Deadline reports. The website reports that the movie clip has been specifically made to be featured in "Annie," the latest movie by directors Will Gluck and Phil Lord. "Annie" is based on the life of a little orphan girl named Annie who attends a movie premiere of "MoonQuake Lake" in the movie. The trailer also refers to a song from "Annie's" soundtrack that is performed by Sia & Beck. The movie's co-director Phil Lord also confused Ashton and Mila's fans when he casually tweeted the trailer for a new movie "MoonQuake Lake." Check out the tweet below. Deadline.com also asked Sony pictures representative if Phil is also directing Mila-Ashton starrer movie, they chose not to comment.

Meanwhile, here is a brief summary about "MoonQuake Lake's" trailer. The clip begins with Mila and Ashton are seen running in a foggy open place. Mila has blue-coloured tears in her eyes. The next scene shows them sitting on a wooden plank inside a river. Rihanna, who has earlier just shown her face in the trailer, now appears from inside the river and looks like a terrifying mermaid. Ashton and Mila indulge in a passionate lip lock and promise not not leave each other. The gorgeous actress, who gave birth to a baby girl sometime back, is seen wearing a white vest.
