If Ashton Kutcher's recent split from Demi Moore doesn't ring anyone's senses that he's now single, maybe his big reveal would.

The actor hasn't disclosed details about the split yet, although he has shared the thing that makes him tick when it comes to relationships.

"I could never be with a woman who felt like she needed to change me," the new 'Two and a Half Men' star confides to Men's Health in its December issue.

However, he is open to negotiations.

"I think it's about working on the relationship and making it better when it's good," Kutcher tells in this pre-split interview. "The goal is not to get into a relationship, the goal is to be in a relationship."

Could these statements could be tricky euphemisms for the reason of the split?

"I'm relatively scared of failure," he confesses. "I just don't see it as something that's inevitable."

What's more inevitable is their marriage's untimely demise, which is said to be due to his alleged one-night stand with 22-year-old Sara Leal on his sixth wedding anniversary with Moore last September.

"We had sex twice. Everything felt natural. We were having a good time. One thing led to another. He was good but it wasn't weird or perverted or creepy. I was attracted to him, and he was attracted to me," the part-time model shares to UK's The Sun newspaper.

Leal even claimed that Kutcher told her that they were already separated at that moment, which led to a tryst which showed the actor's "great endurance".

After that, it is clear that it is time's up for the duo's rocky marriage.

"As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life," Moore meaningfully expressed in a statement.

It wasn't as if the split was a big shocker to the ex-couple's seemingly perfect relationship. Sources close to the couple have been noticing that their union has been "under strain" for a while.

"Demi loves Ashton as much as she hates public humiliation," a source related before. "Their marriage isn't good right now."
