‘Assassin’s Creed Identity’ dated for iOS this February alongside live action trailer release
Fans may be excited by the upcoming release of Ubisoft’s final installment for the Chronicles series on Feb. 9. However, “Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia” is not the only title from the AC franchise coming this month.
iOS players will get a taste of “Assassin’s Creed Identity” as early as Feb. 25. Ubisoft announced via the official Ubisoft blog that the new game will be an action role-playing game that will pit players against the Mystery of the Crows. This means facing story missions and quests while set in the backdrop of the Italian Renaissance cities.

As a mobile game, “Assassin’s Creed Identity” boasts a rather detailed approach to the game. The developer is providing several control options that were tailored for the mobile platform. This involves dual virtual sticks and the option to play with a gamepad. Players can create their own new Assassin by choosing from any of the four classes, Berserker, Trickster, Thief or Shadow Blade. Progression is also a natural part of the game.
According to MWeb, the game will put the iconic parkour moves for the mobile game. Additionally, “Assassin’s Creed Identity” will make use of the Unity engine, so that the graphics will be at its most stunning on a mobile device.
To promote the game, there is a live action trailer that shows how immersive the game can be. The trailer shows the player embodying his “Assassin’s Creed Identity” character in real-life, complete with the proverbial hoodie.
The game is landing first on the iPhone 5 or a more recent model or the iPad 3 or later model. The system also requires the iOS 7. It’s set to be available on the App Store for US$4.35 (approx. AU$6).
