It's a lesson in history that also comes with a whopping number of shootouts and stealth--this is what next-gen players are looking forward to with the release of "Assassin's Creed Unity." In the latest trailer released by Ubisoft, there are three main historical figures worth watching out for.

The names you have to remember from your history lessons include Napoleon Bonaparte, the Marquis de Sade and Robespierre. According to Ubisoft via the official Ubisoft Blog, these real historical figures are not just there to bring some historic accuracy to the title. Rather, they are connected to "Assassin's Creed Unity" hero Arno in some way.

More than this, Elise, the love interest and female character of the title, is also featured in the new video, and their relationship is further explored. Check out the video below for more details.

"Assassin's Creed Unity" also made an appearance at the Facts 2014, and Gamepur was able to obtain a statement from one of the attendees regarding the demoed title. It appears that "Assassin's Creed Unity" is living up to the hype of a wide world waiting to be explored.

"It really felt like this huge city that was alive. The amount of people of the streets were also breathtaking," said NeoGAF user Jindrax as quoted by Gamepur.

The demo build was not perfect, however, given that there were reports of dips in the fps during entry and exit of combat sequences. However, considering that the demo was just a build and may not necessarily reflect the actual performance of the title, this may not be a cause for worry.

Ubisoft's other AC game this year, "Assassin's Creed Rogue," which will be coming out for the PS3 and Xbox 360, is not one to be left behind either, as a new gameplay video has been spotted by GameNGuide showcasing the New York environment with hero Shay Cormac in the picture. The video, seen in the link above, is far from the quality that is expected for "Rogue," but those who want to see the coverage of the map can get some insight with the video.

According to the report, crossing streets stealth-style via the rooftops may not be safer and more feasible with "Assassin's Creed Rogue," which makes it a vast improvement for those who did not like the way "Assassin's Creed III" was constructed. This may be in line with Ubisoft's aim of going back to the main pillars of the franchise, which heavily invests on stealth.
