Expect a lacklustre trading today at the Australian stock market because of negative to mixed leads derived from offshore trading overnight.

According to IG Markets strategist Ben Potter, locally, the ASX 200 is called to open the session flat at 4598 following the mixed overnight leads from US markets.

"We're expecting trade to be pretty quiet ahead of tonight's US Non-farm payrolls data due at 10.30pm AEST," Mr Potter said in a clients briefing note on Friday.
