An Attack on Syria Without UN Support is Prelude to Doomsday WW3 – Anti-War Activist
An attack on Syria regardless of with or without parliamentary support but without the necessary backing of the United Nations is already a prelude to doomsday WW3, Noam Chomsky, an antiwar activist and author, said on Monday.
This, as reported recently, insinuated the crisis now enveloping Syria and its people was a machination being orchestrated by the U.S. itself.
"As international support for Obama's decision to attack Syria has collapsed, along with the credibility of government claims, the administration has fallen back on a standard pretext for war crimes when all else fails: the credibility of the threats of the self-designated policeman of the world," Mr Chomsky told Huffington Post.
Earlier reports claimed that Syrian rebels or those affiliated with the alternative government formed by the opposition umbrella group Syrian National Coalition said that they were the ones who launched the chemical weapons attack on Aug 21. Formed in March 2012, the Syrian National Coalition is the one recognized by several nations including the United States, France and the United Kingdom.
According to the rebels, it was Prince Bandar bin Sultan, Saudi Arabia intelligence chief, who have supplied them the weapons. Prince Bandar is believed to have close ties to Washington.
"Bandar is American-educated, both military and collegiate, served as a highly influential Saudi Ambassador to the U.S., and the CIA totally loves this guy," Geoffrey Ingersoll writing for Business Insider said.
And apparently, the chaos now gripping Syria has been hatched as early as January 2013.

According to portal lastresistance.com, citing a Daily Mail article from January, emails revealing a plan to stage a false flag terrorist attack in Syria to be blamed on Syrian President Assad would prove to be the most crucial plot for the U.S. to exercise its so-called global police powers as a pretext for intervention and war.
"A report released on Monday contains an email exchange between two senior officials at British-based contractor Britam Defence where a scheme 'approved by Washington' is outlined explaining that Qatar would fund rebel forces in Syria to use chemical weapons."
True or not, global heads of nations including Pope Francis and King Abdullah II of Jordan implored their fellow leaders to exercise caution in dealing with the unrest in Syria.
"[T]hat aggression without UN authorization would be a war crime, a very serious one, is quite clear, despite tortured efforts to invoke other crimes as precedents," Mr Chomsky said.
