According to the reports, the former couple who is working towards healing past wounds was looking forward to spend Christmas together. But for one reason or the other, they ended up spending it apart. While Robert Pattinson jetted to London to see his family and friends over Christmas, Kristen Stewart decided to stay back in California even though she had an invite to visit her ex-boyfriend in the capital city of England.

According to the latest reports on his trip to London, he was recently spotted in a night out trip with his friends Tom Sturridge and Sienna Miller. They were apparently celebrating Tom Sturridge's birthday.

However, on Friday, the actor was spotted having a dinner with an unidentified female friend in a restaurant in London. The reports emerged via ROBSessed, a fan-made site dedicated to Robert Pattinson. The Web site posted some photos from Robert Pattinson's recent trip and dinner date in the city of London. As reported by Hollywoodlife.com, the female friend is a brunette girl, with whom actor seemed quite "happy" and "relaxed" on his dinner date. The photos on the Web site are titled "New Pics of Robert Pattinson Out & About in London" and are captioned "Looking gorgeous in his beanie & white t-shirt."

Meanwhile, the rumors also claim that "Twilight" actors and former couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart plan to welcome New Year together while spending time privately in Isle of Wight on New Year's Eve. According to reports, Kristen Stewart will be heading to England after Xmas to visit one of the largest islands of England, with him. The couple wants to spend their New Year's Eve like they have in the past.
