A young woman from New Zealand had to quit her job after she was left humiliated by her two former boyfriends in a viral video. Courtney Drake thought she was in for a pleasant surprise when she was led to an apartment by her boyfriend, but she didn’t count on being verbally abused and bullied.

The video, which runs from one and a half minutes, was posted online this week before YouTube had to take it down. It is still available on other sites, though.

According to the clip, the uploader found out that his girlfriend has been seeing someone else so he invited the other guy to his house. He also invited his girlfriend, Ms Drake, claiming he had a surprise for her.

He covered her eyes with his hand as he led her inside where the other man was waiting. Both men then verbally attacked Ms Drake, with one man throwing a dress in her face at one time.

“You deserve this you f***** b****,” one of the men said.

He turned to the camera and said, “I hope this video goes viral so the world can see what kind of slut exists in this f****** world.”

Ms Drake, who quickly left the apartment after the men’s scathing tirade, was inundated with insulting messages from strangers after the video went viral.

“I have seen thousands of abusive messages about me online and had phone calls from strangers telling me I am a cheat and deserve to be hunted down. It is frightening,” she confided to the Herald on Sunday, adding that she had to quit her part-time job as a barmaid on Thursday as a result of the video.

“My face is all over many Web sites and I fell I have been unfairly named and shamed,” she continued.

“I was dating one of the guys for about 18 months but I thought the relationship was over, so I had started seeing the other guy. To do that was really nasty and hurtful to me and my family. Even my aunt in Scotland has seen it.”

She named one of the men as Borjan Dzarliev, a student from Browns Bay, whom she started seeing after breaking up with the other man, whom she named only as Charlie.

Mr Dzarliev hoped that he’s on “better terms” with his ex-girlfriend now, telling the newspaper that he had talked to her since the video was uploaded online.

“This has gone too far. I really don’t want to say anymore.”

Ms Drake’s family is considering reporting the men to the police.
