Christmas is a time for family, food, and for our mates Down Under - summer holidays. So what do your favourite celebrities plan to do at this time of the year? PopSugar and The Daily Telegraph's Sydney Confidential asked your favourite celebrities about their holiday plans, and we rounded them up here.

Timomatic tells The Daily Telegraph that he'll be spending the holidays with girlfriend Talia Fowler and hopes to get a new bling this year. Talia echoed her boyfriend's thoughts, noting that this year "it's gotten to the point where we need something to look forward to in terms of time to do absolutely nothing."

"Even if we have downtime, it's usually about being connected, on emails, creating whatever live show is coming up next. There's always something to do.

"So I want to go somewhere where there's absolutely nothing to do," Talia says.

Jess Mauboy, on the other hand, plans to come home to Darwin and "do the usual thing with family".

"It is definitely a special time as it is one of the only times in the year I get to sit down and have a good laugh and gain that beautiful energy again," the ARIA awardee says. "I think by the end of it you just want to do nothing and go back to basics."

Meanwhile, two US-based Aussie models may not be able to come home for Christmas. Jess Gomez, for one, might stay in Los Angeles with friends.

"We will do a big traditional thing with the tree and I've got all of my Christmas decorations," the new David Jones ambassador says. "It is going to be really fun, a bunch of Australian orphans coming together in Los Angeles."

Jess Hart, on the other hand, may either stay in New York or try to come home to Australia.

"Christmas means a day off. It is family," the Victoria's Secret model says.

Hart also noted on how Australians celebrate Christmas in an American way though it is summer Down Under.

"When it is summer for us, we still put snow on our trees. That is funny to me. It will be nice to be home in the summer and have seafood instead of turkey," Hart notes.
