A Queensland man has got 30 years in prison for forcing his adopted son into prostitution.

According to the Associate Press, the authorities informed that the Australian, 36, and his partner were responsible for allowing at least 8 people to have sexual intercourse with the young son in lieu of money. The man cannot be identified for the protection of the identity of his son.

Earlier in February, the Aussie pleaded guilty to conspiracy to exploit a child in sexual manner. He also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to be in possession of child pornography. The man was sentenced by the U.S. District Judge Sarah Evans Barker on Monday, according to the Indianapolis Star.

The Aussie man was in partnership with an American, 42, who had been in Australia for a while. He has already been sentenced for 40 years, the maximum possible. The judgement came earlier in June after he had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to exploit a child in sexual manner. The 'partners in crime' got romantically involved with each other in the 1990s. They planned to adopt a child thereafter, according to court documents.

The Associate Press obtained court documents which showed that both these men lived with the boy-child in California. They allegedly used fake records so that they could legalise the adoption. The documents also show that they paid $8,000 for the adoption to the mother of the child, who had been abandoned by her husband. When the alleged 8 men had sex with boy, his age was anywhere between two and six. Both the Australian and the American got arrested in Los Angeles in 2012.

According to U.S. Attorney Joe Hogsett, the men were arrested after an Indiana man had been caught with child pornographic material in his computer. Apparently, the images had this young child involved in sex acts. The man eventually led the investigators to these two men.
