Aussie Home Loans has pushed its recruitment drive into WA, seeking to draw franchisees from both within and outside the financial services industry.

The company will hold a "career information evening" on 10 October at the Burswood Convention Centre in Perth, and aims to attract more than 100 potential franchisees and brokers. Aussie executive chairman John Symond said the company is seeking to recruit even those without previous financial services experience.

"We have targeted Western Australia as a big growth area for our business, and we are keen to employ young and old, experienced and inexperienced business people to join our group," he said.

Symond indicated the company is looking to launch franchises to service the Perth metropolitan area as well as regional areas, particularly the north coast. He spruiked Aussie's diversification of products, and said the broker planned to expand into wealth management in the coming year.
