Australia selectors have bucked tradition and are refusing to divulge the names on their 30-man squad list for the ICC Champions Trophy in June, which isn't against the rules, according to the ICC.

Pakistan have already released their list, which will be cut down to 15 players closer to the tournament in England, and the other six countries are expected to name their squads in the next few days.

But the Aussies, the eighth and final team, will not be doing so, choosing to keep their team composition a secret in the wake of a difficult few months filled with injuries, back room drama and poor form.

An ICC spokesperson said: "Custom and practice is that countries announce their provisional squads 60 days before the first ball is scheduled to be bowled in the tournament. But this isn't compulsory."

Australia play their first match against England on 8 June.
