Australia is slated to start a tour of India with 31/2 -week limited-overs from October to November.

On October 10, the Aussie squad will be in Rajkot, playing a one-off Twenty20 International. And on November 2, they will complete their tour with their 7th One-Day International in Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India released the schedule. BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel said the One-Day Internationals will be day-night games, starting at 2.30 pm IST/7pm AEST, while the Twenty20 International in Rajkot will take place at 7.00 pm Indian time/11:30pm AEST, India TV reported.

The Aussie team will travel cross country playing in several cities including Rajkot, Jaipur, Pune, Mohali, Ranchi, Nagpur, Cuttack and Bangalore.

"India is a great place to tour and play cricket," Australian coach Darren Lehmann was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au. "It's very challenging, as we saw on the recent Test tour, but the players will have learnt a lot from that series and also from playing for various teams in the IPL."

He added, "Over the next few years I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences in the lead-up to the 2015 World Cup and as we look to rise up the ODI rankings.”

In the first half of 2013, Australia lost to India in a four-Test series with India making a sweeping victory of 4-0. The Indian team showed they were comfortable winning over the Aussie side with wins in Chennai, Mohali, Hyderabad and New Delhi. The victory for the Indian side was the first in the history of Test cricket with the home team winning all four Tests in a series.
