Australian Actor Hugh Jackman Thrilled Fans at WWE Wrestling Event
He definitely is a man of made of "Adamantium" steel. Australian actor Hugh Jackman thrilled wrestling fans by jumping into the ring to throw a punch at celebrated fighter Doplh Ziggler while guest starring on the WWE wrestling event Raw SuperShow. The X-Men hunk jetted to Cleveland, Ohio to host the fight night and he handpicked a fighter to go up against US reigning champion Ziggler.
However, before he selected an opponent for the match, Jackman revved up the competition with some choice words for the WWE star. "I love an underdog so much that I'm going to go back into the locker room, I'm going to find the biggest underdog I can find, and I'm going to help him to come out here and have the upset of his life and humiliate you in a match," Jackman threatened.
Jackman ultimately threw his support behind "underdog" Zack Ryder and things eventually got heated. The actor was prompted to step under the ropes and knock Dolph Ziggler down with a right-handed punch after Ziggler taunted him as Batman when he is well-known for playing Wolverine. Apparently, Jackman messed up Ziggler's jaw. In the end, Ryder went on to defeat Ziggler at the event.
"Fractured jaw. Hairline mandibular fracture. Thanks Batman," Dolph tweeted. "Guess I'll put my chipotle in a blender for a few weeks," Dolph further stated in his tweet. This whole incident is reminiscent of the time Hugh rode the zipline on "Oprah" and whacked into a lighting rig in the process. The actor was at the fight night to promote his new robot boxing film "Real Steel" which releases in Australia on October 6.
