Australian actor Ryan Kwanten graces Men's Health cover for November
True Blood star Ryan Kwanten revealed that he drinks before joining triathlons. The Australian actor told Men's Health that he prefers booze for hydration in an interview and cover shoot for the magazine's November 2010 issue.
"I've been known to turn up drunk at triathlons and do very well," the 22-year-old actor said.
The Australian actor, who is known for his well-toned body he readily flaunts in the vampire series, says in the interview that he has a long-standing commitment to keeping fit. Kwanten says that his fit body is not only for the entire duration of his work in True Blood, he plans to keep his well-toned figure even after his portrayal of Jason Stackhouse.
"I'm not one of those actors who gets physically fit for a role and then loses it all again," Kwanten tell's Men's Health.
"I'm very rarely in the gym. My workouts are predominately outside, in nature."
This philosophy toward working out extends even to his career and success, according to the actor.
In the same interview, Kwanten also said he had become comfortable with vinyasa flow yoga classes, candidly telling the magazine that:
"I used to laugh at anyone suggesting it. But over time, you learn how to spend an hour not worrying about what anyone else is thinking. For guys especially, that's a good thing."
