Australian actress Ruby Rose donates Electrobeach festival earnings for Nice truck attack victims
Australian DJ and actress Ruby Rose recently revealed via Twitter that she would donate her earnings from the Electrobeach festival to #GiveforFrance fundraiser in order to support victims of the Nice attack.
“Nice, France.. My heart goes out to all the families involved and the whole community,” she tweeted.
“I'll be donating my fee from the Electrobeach festival today in France to #giveforfrance to help the victims of yesterday's awful tragedy,” Rose declared on Twitter.
The hashtag #GiveforFrance was established by Fondation de France in order to address immediate and future needs of families of the victims who were killed. The attack reportedly claimed 84 lives when a truck was deliberately driven into crowds celebrating Bastille Day.
The 30-year-old Aussie beauty posted another snap of her performance during the festival thanking the country for her gig.
“Thank you France for having me ... What a special night of love and unity,” she wrote.
Rose’s Instagram fans were also updated about her France show.
“A sad and yet joyous night to be in France. Bound together by love and unity. Thank you for having me,” she captioned an Instagram photo.
Rose also posted a snap of her waving and remembering the victims of the France attack. In an overtly emotional description, Rose revealed she wants to take everyone faraway to another planet simply to get rid of the ones in power and who are using it the wrong way. She wants everybody to go somewhere people can start over, free of judgement and hate.
Rose added that people should be holding hands and not spreading more hate, be kind to each other and be united at all times. She said she is sad and terribly disheartened with the way hate is spreading in this world.
“I care about everything going on, I'm sad, I'm disheartened. Things don't feel the same, I'm confused.. I feel everything you probably do... I am in France right now but I'm also reading about Turkey,” Rose wrote in the caption.
