Australian actress Cate Blanchett placed fifth in Forbes' Hollywood's Best Actors For The Buck. For every dollar given to the actress, films where she appears earn $27 in profits.

Cate Blanchett stars as the female lead in two recent films: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Robin Hood. The latter earned $310 million despite opening weakly at the box office. In both films, Blanchett took in significantly less earnings than her male co-stars.

Five female actress made it to the top ten: Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Anniston, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Blanchett.

"Because women typically earn less than men in Hollywood, they make up a full half of our top 10 list," Forbes explains.

Shia LeBeouf lands the the number 1 spot in Forbes' list for the second year in a row. For every $1 LaBeouf got, his movie earned $81 in profit.

LaBeouf had starred in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," with $787 million in earnings worldwide, and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," with $836 million worldwide in earnings.
