Australian Idol's Andrew Günsberg to host Paula Abdul's new show
Australian Idol co-host Andrew Günsberg will be hosting the Paula Abdul's LIVE TO DANCE. CBS announced that the Australian host (Take 40 Australia, The ConTest) will be doing hosting duties on the new-reality show competition.
Meanwhile, former Pussycat Dolls member Kimberly Wyatt and Michael Jackson's This is It choreographer Travis Payne will serve in the panel of experts with Paula Abdul. All three experts will give their input to contestants during the audition, performance and elimination process.
LIVE TO DANCE is a reality talent search show set to feature dancers with raw ability from any age group across the nation performing either solo or in a group. The show has two upcoming open casting calls on:
- Oct. 14 in New York City at the Jacob Javits Center.
- Oct 28 in Los Angeles (location TBD).
LIVE TO DANCE is based "Got to Dance" format created by Princess Productions and Shine TV, and is produced by Reveille. Elisabeth Murdoch, Howard T. Owens, James Sunderland, Robin Ashbrook, Anthony Dominici and Paula Abdul are executive producers. Distribution is handled by Shine International.
