Australian Man Allegedly Burns and Eats Ex-Girlfriend
An Australian man allegedly burnt his former girlfriend and ate her skin. He is also accused of carving nights and crosses on the woman's back as he violently raped her.
The unidentified NSW man pleaded guilty to a number of charges last week. He is going to be sentenced in a Sydney court in 2015. The charges against the man included kidnap and sexual assault. However, there were several other charges that he did not plead guilty to. 9News reported that even the most seasoned officers had been stunned by the case. Constable Genelle Warne is reported to be the one who helped the victim come forward. She was awarded the "Police Officer of the Year" because of her cooperation with the victim.
The 41-year-old man forced his girlfriend into a lengthy session of sexual abuse last 2006 when the couple used to be together. The relation had lasted for around 18 months before the man started abusing the woman. According to the police statement of facts, the offender allegedly held the woman's face over a stove top and struck her with a belt as he forced her to lean over a chair. He forced her into the bathroom when she tried running away through the front door. The man asked her why she had done so, but the woman apparently had no idea what he was asking about.
The man continued to hit heavily on the woman's head. The man asked her to kiss the private part of his cousin. After the woman allegedly suffered the sexual humiliation, her arm, fingers and toes were squeezed by the man with a hot hair straightener. The accused ripped off the burnt skin of the woman and ate it. The man allegedly carved noughts and crosses on her back with a knife. He also allegedly threatened the woman's genitalia with the knife. The victim stayed at home after the assault and did not see a doctor for two days.
It took six years for the woman to speak about the sexual abuse. The woman reported the domestic violence only in 2012. When police made a follow-up call, more details of the case were revealed. The man was charged last 2013.
