Australian models Miranda Kerr, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Jennifer Hawkins and Elle Macpherson have all made it to the model rich list. "Grazia" magazine published a list of the eleven highest paid models in the world in their latest issue and listed Kershaw's earnings as more than the Royals. The magazine reported that the Melbourne-born model earns $100,000 a week making her one of the highest paid models on the planet.

Meanwhile, supermodel mum Miranda Kerr has a net worth of $11.4 million while Hawkins earns $5 million a year. Miranda Kerr gained her net worth by being one of Victoria's Secret Angels since 2007. Kerr was born in Sydney, Australia, but was raised in Gunnedah, New South Wales. Kerr began modeling at the age of 13 and soon won an Australian model search in 1997.

Industry veteran Macpherson dwarfs all of their salaries with a total worth of $57 million. Kathy Ireland was listed as the richest model in the world with a fortune of $333 million. While many people think of Gisele Bundchen or Heidi Klum when they think of rich models, neither come close to what Kathy Ireland is worth.

Gisele Bundchen's $45 million a year and Heidi Klum's $20 million do not compare to Kathy Ireland's riches. Ireland was recently profiled for Forbes magazine and has a net worth of a staggering $350 million and makes an additional $2 billion off her retail.

Ireland started modeling at 17-years-old and is now 48-years-old. She was one of the 1980's most popular supermodels. She appeared in the "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue" for thirteen consecutive years. As for her retail, she launched a line of socks for Kmart in the 1990s and it was a huge hit.

Ireland decided to expand her brand to include apparel, wedding dresses, wigs, jewelry, area rugs, ceiling fans, carpeting, futons and office furniture. Her products are now sold around the world. She has also written six books, worked as an actress and taped fitness videos. She is not in the spotlight much more but she did show up for the 2010 Oscars looking gorgeous in black.

Controversial supermodel Kate Moss is worth $75 million while her rival Naomi Campbell has $47 million. Tipped by Forbes to become the "world's first billionaire supermodel", Gisele Bundchen is well on her way there with an estimated fortune of $238 million.

Runway stalwarts Claudia Schiffer and Heidi Klum are worth $52 and $68 million respectively. TV personality Tyra Banks is another one of the big earners with profits from her television and beauty empire worth $85 million. The latest issue of Grazia magazine is out.
