The Australian Sex Party announced their bold policies for Australia in its election bid in Melbourne.

"We respect the rights of all individuals to live their lives in the ways they choose without infringing the rights of or causing harm to others. In exercising their rights and freedom individuals should accept responsibility for their choices while being tolerant of the choices made by others," according to the party's official Web site.

Hence, the Australian Sex Party calls for the legalisation of marijuana, abortion and euthanasia and fair share of tax for churches.

"We estimate, and this is a conservative estimate, that the cannabis industry in Australia is worth around $6 billion, so with a 30 per cent excise and a 10 per cent GST, we would be looking at $2.4 billion worth of tax that could be reaped from that industry by regulating it. In Australia today, it is easier for a 16-year-old to buy a joint than it is to buy a cigarette," Australian Sex Party senate candidate, Fiona Patten, explained during their election bid launch.

She said that in her opinion, $8bn could be acquired through winding back enforcement of illicit drugs.

As for the churches to pay their fair share of tax, Ms Patten said that churches are the country's biggest landowners, however, they do not pay taxes and these "landowners" are costing Australian taxpayers approximately $20bn per year.

The party also called for the full decriminalisation of abortion, as in complete removal from criminal statuses and for tampons and all women's sanitary products be exempt from Goods and Services Tax.

The Australian Sex Party's policy also includes decriminalisation of voluntary euthanasia among terminally ill and suffering patients.

True to the party's name, the Australian Sex Party launched a crowd-funded campaign advertisement video and freebies with variety of Sex Party condoms.

The Sex Party Condoms variety includes a "smug fit" Greens variety. It says that the condom offer extra protection for policies with no penetration.

The variety also has an "extremely thick and desensitised" Liberal Nationals condom.

Lastly, there is a "may not meet erection promises" Labor condoms which come with extra feature of lubricant "to minimise factional rub."
