Australia's 5SOS Records World Cup Track 'Hearts Upon Our Sleeve' (Video)
Australia's boy band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) shows their support for the upcoming World Cup by recording a single entitled "Hearts Upon Our Sleeve."
5SOS, composed of Luke, Michael, Calum and Ashton, flew from Australia to UK to team up with BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills. 5SOS together with Scott Mills recorded "Hearts Upon Our Sleeve" in celebration of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off Thursday, June 12 in Brazil.
5SOS' video of "Hearts Upon Our Sleeve" was premiered by BBC Radio 1 with host Scott Mills pioneering the song, reports Entertainmentwise. In the video, 5SOS can be seen showing off their football skills and tricks while recording "Hearts Upon Our Sleeve" in the BBC Radio 1 studio. Suprisingly, and to the delight of fans, 5SOS also managed to nab their friends One Direction for a starring role in the video. The One Direction boys are seen playing around with a football on a red carpet, while rapper Tinie Tempah also shows off his footwork. Other stars also made guest appearances such as "You Me At Six" member Gary Lineker and the rest of the BBC sports team.

MTV reports the catchy track of "Hearts Upon Our Sleeve" talks about overcoming life's struggles and coming out of them with feet planted firmly on the ground. 5SOS calls the single a "generic football" anthem, however it has the potential of being the national anthem of the World Cup with its "anthemic" lyrics and chants, plus a brief rap by BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills.
"See the players run out and them anthems ring/ And you're singing so hard you can't hear a thing/ But the beat of your heart as it's beating you up again," 5SOS sings on the track."
5SOS is currently on tour with One Direction, as an opening act for their "Where We Are Tour," reports MTV. 5SOS will be releasing their self-titled album on June 26, although there's no confrmation yet that "Hearts Upon Our Sleeve" will be one of the album tracks.
