Australia’s ‘The Bachelor’ Couple Split: Sam Has No Clue Why Blake Called Off The Engagement
On Thursday night, the final moments of "The Bachelor Australia" Season 2 were perfect. After dating 30 beautiful women on the reality show, Blake told Sam that he has felt a lot of love but he has been in love with only one girl and that is her. He went down on his knee, opened the ring box, and popped the question, "Samantha Frost, will you marry me?" Sam said, "100 per cent." Both of them confessed that they love each other. The producers of the show wouldn't have been happier, with such a fairy-tale ending to their show. But in less than 24 hours, Ten Network has released a statement, confirming the rumours that Blake and Sam have ended their engagement.
The statement suggested that it is Blake who called off the engagement as he felt that he and his fiancée were expecting different things from the relationship and also their priorities were not the same. Sam posted her reaction on her Twitter account. It looks like she also has no clue why Blake ended their engagement. "People need to stop asking why we broke up. Trust me, I'm just as in the dark as you all are. Blake is the one calling all the shots here," Sam wrote.

News.com.au is reporting that Sam and Blake ended their relationship last week on Friday. Citing an insider, the report says Sam was "devastated" and still coming to terms with Blake's sudden decision to end the engagement.
Meanwhile, there are also rumours that Blake has got one of the bachelorettes pregnant. After the airing of the final episode, Lisa took to Instagram and said that she is not pregnant with Blake's baby. Only Blake and Sam can tell what the real story is and reveal what really went wrong after they returned to Australia from South Africa, after filming the season finale.
Here is the official statement from Ten:
According to the statement, posted on the Twitter page of "The Bachelor Australia," "Network Ten can confirm that Blake and Sam have sadly ended their engagement. When Blake proposed to Sam in South Africa, he did so because he had genuinely fallen in love with her. He was excited to start a life with Sam and was very much looking forward to their future together."
"Unfortunately, not all relationships are meant to be, and feelings invariably change. Once Blake returned to his everyday life, he realised that they both wanted different things from a relationship and had different priorities. Blake has the greatest love and respect for Sam, but has made the difficult decision to end the relationship."
