The fifth season of Australia's Got Talent will be back next year.

The night before the finale of the 2010 season, Channel Seven announced that the crazy and extraordinary performances will make a return in 2011. It said that the talent show had its most successful season yet.

The first part of last week's grand final drew more than 1.8 million viewers.

For this year, the show had a new judging line-up composed of Kyle Sandilands, Brian McFadden and Dannii Minogue.

"The new judging line-up has worked a treat, and the calibre of this year's acts and their stories have really struck a chord with audiences. We look forward to building on that even further in 2011," said Brad Lyons, Seven's head of production.

"What a sensational series 2010 has been. Seven and ourselves have worked very hard to lift the program to a new level. We couldn't be happier with the results," FramantleMedia Australia CEO Ian Hogg added.

The Grand Final Verdict, the remaining episode for the 2010 series, will happen tonight. Eight acts will perform and the best of the best will bring home the $250,000 prize money.
