It's still two months to go before the new season of "Australia's Next Top Model" airs, and yet the controversy starts as early as now. One of the wannabe models have reportedly been kicked out of the competition over bullying allegations.

According to a new report, the Foxtel reality show has to eliminate the troublemaker after learning of the bullying incidents.

"It was serious and it needed to be handled carefully," a backstage source told news.com.au.

There was allegedly also an incident of a physical fight. Incoming host Jennifer Hawkins, who replaced model-actress Sarah Murdoch, had to step in to diffuse the problem.

"I don't know why but I went into (the show) thinking 'oh, there won't be drama, everything will be fine,' but of course there is always drama," she told Confidential in an interview this week. "A lot of things have happened in the house and we were dealing with something that hasn't happened before."

She did not elaborate on what the situation is, but just said that "it was really intense."

Foxtel had "no comment" on the report.

It can be recalled in the Cycle 4 of the show that bullying was also a lingering issue. Winner Demelza Reveley had received negative publicity after she continuously bullied fellow competitor Alamela Rowan on the show.

Cycle 8 of "Australia's Next Top Model" will air in July.
