"The adrenalin is going to be pumping, but at least we don't pick the winner - the public do," he said. "The pressure is off in that sense because it's up to Australia, so for us it's just a celebration of the girls and how far they've come."

Dajana, a school girl studying at the Canberra Girls Grammar School, told The Canberra Times, "the whole experience I cannot put into one word - exciting, fantastic, adventurous, supercalifragilistic."

"It was so rewarding and I learnt so much and I grew so much. I would do it again in an instant.''

Jade said to Pedestrian: "... I've come out of the competition and gone back to university, and the other day I got my first High Distinction. I was like, "Oh my god! How did I do that?" Just my motivation for life, and for all of the opportunities that are about to come my way, everything I'm doing with Colgate... I'm just so excited, bring it on!"
