Yes, the Na'vi's are back and Pandora is in danger once again. Due to the increasing demand of an 'Avatar' sequel, director and producer James Cameron is taking up the challenge as he sets to film the 'Avatar' sequels back-to-back-to-back.

'Avatar 2' is scheduled to hit theaters December 2016 and will be followed by its third installment in December 2017, and its fourth in December 2018. After the massive office hit in 2009, Cameron is going reward its fans in a three year 'Avatar' extravaganza with one film each year.

Cameron will join forces with screenwriters Josh Friedman ('War of the Worlds'), Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver ('Rise of Plant Apes'), and Shane Salerno ('Savages') to make an epic sequel of 'Avatar.'

Set in a thriving habitable moon of a gas giant in the Alpha Centauri star system, Pandora is a breakthrough in cinematic technology as 'Avatar' brings this magical place into life. Original stars of the film Sam Worthington and Zoe Zaldana are set to join the cast and crew of 'Avatar 2' to reprise their role as Jake Sully and Neytiri.

'Jake Sully is a rare combination of passion, strength, street smarts and soul, which requires a lot from an actor. Sam brought to the role a combination of sensitivity, vulnerability and strength,' says 'Avatar 2' director James Cameron.

Worthington is set to star alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Terence Howard in the action movie 'Sabotage.' The recently married actress on the other hand is casted in NBC's 'Rosemary's Baby' miniseries and will star in Marvel's "Guardian of the Galaxy.'

'Zoe captured every aspect of the character I envisioned, bringing to Neytiri a mix of delicacy, fierceness and incredible physicality. I am beyond pleased they'll be returning with us to Pandora,' added Cameron.

Actor Stephen Lang will also reprise his role as Marine Colonel Quaritch, he is the first original cast to sign on the next installment of the franchise. But the question is how his character will fit to the new movie when Colonel Quaritch died in the first film.

The highly-anticipated 'Avatar' sequel will be produced by James Cameron with his production partner Jon Landau.
