The untitled “Avengers 4” is heading for reshoots this month. In a recent interview, cast member Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) said that they are doing this now because they didn’t get to finish filming last year. He also teased that they will be taking the movie in “another direction.”

In an interview with TheMarvelistsPodcast, Ruffalo confirmed that the reshoots for the film are starting this month, ComingSoon.net reports. The actor revealed that they will be finishing the movie, suggesting that it had been left incomplete the last time they were filming.

Assuming that they are filming the ending, Ruffalo and the other cast members don’t know what it will be yet. The actor also teased that the plan at the moment is to do some shooting and then come back a few days later and reshoot it because they want to “take it in another direction.”

Are the Russo brothers filming multiple endings for the film? Leaks from the production set to cast members slipping out things during interviews and leaks during fan interactions has been one challenge filmmakers have to deal with. Filming multiple endings means that even the cast members don’t know how things will turn out, which is very important for superhero movies.

Readers will remember that Ruffalo practically gave away the ending of “Infinity War” in an interview previously. His fellow cast member Don Cheadle (James Rhodes), who was also a part of that interview, tried to stop him but was a little too late. The interview, posted on the YouTube channel of Good Morning America, wasn’t taken seriously at that time. It became clear that Ruffalo shared spoilers only after the movie was released.

The cast members of “Avengers 4” will go on an international promotion tour right after they wrap the reshoots, Ruffalo confirmed. It remains to be seen if Marvel will trust Ruffalo with interviews after what happened last time.
