'Avengers 4': Leaked picture teases return of familiar character
With many of the superheroes dead, new heroes will be joining the fight in “Avengers 4.”A leaked behind-the-scenes picture that has surfaced online reveals a familiar character from previous movies has made the transition with a new suit and will be seen in a new avatar in the upcoming film. The following article contains spoilers.
A picture posted on CBR shows what appears to be a selfie that cast member Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) took in front of a green screen on the set. What is most striking in the picture is her costume.
Judging by the picture, it looks like Pepper has become a superhero, and she is wearing something that may have been designed by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). Tony is fast emerging as the go to guy for superhero costumes after he gave Spider-Man (Tom Holland) his new suit, and he now appears to have made something for Pepper.
Pepper Potts was last seen in “Infinity War.” She has some experience piloting an armoured suit of Tony Stark, after the events in “Iron Man 3.”
In the comics, Pepper eventually became a superhero known as Rescue. The leaked picture from “Avengers 4” suggests that the movie will introduce the character in her superhero avatar, which means that the fans will get to see more of her in the future movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Rescue will be joining the next phase of superheroes that includes Captain Marvel (Brie Larson). The next film may also introduce the next big villain, just as the anticipation for Thanos (Josh Brolin) was built up over the years.
The untitled “Avengers 4” film has been directed by the Russo brothers. It is set to be released on May 3, 2019 in the US. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date for Australia.
