A major character in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" may be killed in the movie. Fans of the franchise consider who the character is and what the implications are for the movies in the future. The movie is slated to be released on May 1, 2015 in the U.S.

One character that many of the fans consider to be of little use in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is Hawkeye. Some of the fans of the franchise at DVDtalk forum think that the character will be amongst the first to go, given the popularity and marketability of the other characters in the movie.

But the counter-argument posed to this assertion by the other fans is that the reason for having a death scene in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is to have a big impact in the minds of the audience. There appears to be an agreement among some of the fans that the death of Hawkeye will not have that much of an impact.

Speculation of the death of a major character picked up pace after the producers released this picture of Captain America's indestructible shield shattered. Will it be Steve Rogers who's going to die? What does this mean for future "Avengers" movies?

Fans of the franchise believe that even if Steve Rogers is killed, the role of Captain America will be carried on by someone else. Two characters who can potentially take on the role include Bucky and Sam Wilson. Steve Rogers has already been replaced by Sam Wilson to play the role of Captain America in the comic books.

The character of Sam Wilson was introduced in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." Readers may also know him as Falcon. The role was played by actor Anthony Mackie. Will "Avengers: Age of Ultron" be the last movie for Steve Rogers?

The other exciting feature of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is the fight between Hulk and Iron Man. The Hulkbuster suit of Iron Man is specially designed by Tony Stark to take on the might of Hulk. Who will win this epic battle? The producers of the upcoming movie teased the fans with a concept art of the two characters fighting. Click here to see the picture.
